205.0 – Official Weigh-In

Well I didn’t quite hit my weekly target weight of 204.6, but I’m closing back in on it. Hopefully by next Saturday’s official weigh-in I’ll be back below my target weights again.

There are now 90 days Left until the FitBet Deadline to be between 170-175 lbs and I’m now down 33.6 lbs and just over halfway to my goal weight loss of 65 lbs total. 32 lbs to go!

It took me ~82 days to lose 33 lbs and I have 90 days left to lose the remaining 32 lbs – so it’s definitely doable. But like I’ve said in earlier posts, the closer I get to my goal weight, the slower the weight loss will become. So I’ll have to really focus on diet in the upcoming weeks.

Onederland is right around the corner. Onederland is a term I picked up from the Biggest Loser – it’s getting your weight back into the one hundreds! The last time I can honestly recall being below two bills was in 1999, so this will be very exciting for me.

Hoping to make it to the gym for a good cardio workout later today. Gotta made the fat hurt, ya know? šŸ™‚

Well it is what it is. I’m over my target weight by about 2 lbs. I could probably sit here for hours and rationalize why I’m where I am but it’s futile.

I need to dig deeper, work harder, and watch my nutrition like a hawk. I need to get my weight back down below my weekly target weights to make sure I remain on schedule to win FitBet on AugustĀ  30th. Bottom line.

I’m finally starting to feel better since the strep throat knocked me down a couple notches, so hopefully now I can begin exercising regularly again – which I feel will help tremendously.

213.6 – Official Weigh-In

Well I’m basically where I was this past Sunday, sitting 25 pounds down from my starting weight. I am just slightly less by about .2 lbs, so I’m officially at my lowest weight yet!

Plus I’m still on track to hit my goal weight range of 170-175 by the end of my fitness bet with Rick on August 30th.

Like I said, I’d like to put some distance between my actual weight and my target weights because the closer I get to my goal weight, the harder it’s going to be to lose the weight. I likely could have lost more weight this weekend except that I did have those three poor nutrition days.

All that being said, I’m extremely happy to be at my lowest weight yet, to still be on target to win the FitBet, and to be this close to the last stretch of the 200’s – the single digit 200’s. So close to getting back into the 100’s that I can taste it!

217.2

Ok, well today’s “official” weigh-in comes in at 217.2.Ā  Exactly three pounds less than the 220.2 I needed to be in order to remain on target to hit my FitBet goal weight of 170-175 on August 30th.

That’s good and all but I really should be a bit further ahead than that. Those 2 weeks, beginning when I went down to Gainesville, followed by when I had to stay in a hotel, really stalled my weight loss.

That being said, the positives far outweigh the negatives here. For starters, I’m at my lowest weight yet since beginning this physique transformation. Also, I didn’t let those two “down” weeks stop me. I didn’t give up and revert back to my old ways. I simply moved on. I refocused my energy and got back at it.

Now I’m losing weight steadily again. I’m ahead of where I need to be at this point. And I ran 5k yesterday in just over 30 minutes! Now that I’m in the two-teens I have my sights set squarely on the single digit 200s and right around the corner, Onederland! What is “Onederland”? I saw that on the Biggest Loser. It’s getting your weight back into theĀ  “One” Hundreds. The home stretch for me. But still a lot of work to do before that.

Woke up too late to make the Palace Saloon 5K this a.m. so I’m sitting in the parking lot at the gym blogging this before I go workout. Make it a productive day people!
